Account deletion

Last updated 5 November 2026

Manaska allows users to delete their accounts and request deletion of associated personal information.

This page explains how account deletion works, what information is deleted and what may be retained. Manaska is operated by Hritik Kumar, a sole proprietor based in India.

1. How to delete your account

Option 1: Delete through the Manaska app

  1. Open Manaska and sign in.
  2. Go to More → Delete my account.
  3. Follow the instructions to confirm deletion.

Your account and associated personal information are deleted through the account deletion process, subject to the limited retention exceptions described below.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you cannot sign in, no longer have the app installed or need assistance, you can request deletion by emailing privacy@manaska.in.

Suggested subject: Manaska Account Deletion Request. Where possible, send the request from your registered email address. If you no longer have access to that email address, explain this in your request so we can help verify account ownership.

You do not need to reinstall Manaska to request deletion.

2. How email requests are handled

We may take reasonable steps to verify that a deletion request comes from the account holder or an authorized parent or guardian. Once verified, we will process the request and delete the account and associated personal information, subject to applicable retention requirements.

We may contact you if additional information is necessary to verify or complete the request. We will handle requests without unnecessary delay and within applicable legal requirements.

3. Information deleted

Account deletion generally removes:

If you joined a class, records shared within that class may also be affected. Some information may remain where legally required or otherwise permitted for a legitimate retention purpose.

4. Information that may be retained

Limited information may remain after account deletion, including:

Retained personal information is restricted to the purposes that justify keeping it.

Anonymized educational information

Manaska may retain genuinely anonymized educational datasets, aggregate statistics, research findings, derived insights and AI model artifacts that cannot reasonably identify an individual. This information may be used for educational research, analytics, product improvement and AI development. Simply removing names or account identifiers does not necessarily make information anonymous.

5. When deletion takes effect

Once the account deletion process is completed, your deleted account can no longer be used to access Manaska. Some information may remain temporarily in technical logs, backups or other systems for the limited purposes described above. Where retention is legally required or otherwise permitted, the information will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the relevant retention requirements.

6. Deletion requests for children

A parent or legal guardian may request deletion of a child's account where authorized under applicable law. We may request reasonable verification of the person's authority before processing the request.

7. Subscriptions and purchases

If Manaska introduces paid subscriptions, deleting your account may not automatically cancel a subscription managed by an app store or external payment provider. You may need to cancel that subscription separately. Refund eligibility is governed by applicable purchase terms, provider policies and consumer law.
